Can’t co-sign this one at all. It’s one thing to criticize an artist on their musical abilities/talent but sometimes bloggers, radio personalities, and fans (especially online) can take things too far and get too personal on their attacks on an artist. Yeah we all had something to say about Lil Mama jumping on stage with Alicia and Hov but the shit was entertaining, what else do you remember from that night? Charlamagne went a little overboard taking jabs at Lil Mama’s face and getting cruel about his jokes at times but if you’ve listened to Charlamagne you know it’s the norm for him and he can be hilarious at times….too far on this one though. Below I included a little throwback footage of Charlamagne when he tried to go at comedian Andrew Dice Clay and it backfired.

I really thought Lil Mama said some good stuff here. She pointed out a big source of hypocrisy in the current state of hip-hop. We are quick to bash her for her past transgressions and we aren’t doing enough to uplift her.
