Woke up early this morning to get a little blogging done and got hit with the sad news that Nate Dogg passed away. Nathaniel Dwayne Hale, bka Nate Dogg, has passed away at the young age of 41. Details aren’t clear but we’ve already received confirmation from the people who were closest to him like Daz & Snoop Dogg.
A few years ago it was reported that Nate was hit with 2 strokes and just this winter his homie and fellow G-Funk Era godfather, Warren G, did a video interview informing the fans of his health and stating they would start accepting donations to help with his medical/family bills.
We lost a true legend n hip hop n rnb. One of my best friends n a brother to me since 1986 when I was a sophomore at poly high where we met
Nate will definitely be missed, his classic G-Funk sound was so much better than these auto-tune filled hooks we’re being drowned with today. R.I.P. Nate Dogg!

Rest easy, Nate.
You’re among the King of Kings and the millions of angels he commands.
I’m sure you’re making sounds of musical harmony with 2Pac, Pun, Biggie, Eazy E, Big L, with Jam Master Jay at the turntables.

He’ll definitely be missed. Listening through Big Boi’s radio tribute and there was just an unlimited amount of heat he was bringing for the west!
