It seems that Pastor Troy is a little upset at the people getting all of the attention in the media (radio, mags. etc.) so he took to the booth to name drop the whole industry and let everyone he’s still here and doing it. My first memory of Pastor Troy is from “No Mo Play In Ga” which also served as a diss to Master P and the No Limit camp. If you lived in Georgia at the time that track dropped you know the pandemonium it caused when played in any party, club, basketball game, etc. It was the official GA anthem. Now in 2011 Troy finds himself trying to stir up some of that same controversy with this new “This For You Nigga” track where he name drops a ton of artists, even artist here in Atlanta like T.I., Gucci, and Jeezy.
What do you think about this record? Is Troy being a hater or simply speaking his mind?

Troy has been reppin the south for ever, people don’t give him the respect he deserves. The shit troy dropped 12 years ago is still relevant today. The man dropped some hot shit for a long time, got lazy in the booth for a few albums, but now troy is gettin hot again and coming out with some shit. He may not be fuckin a nigga up in every song now but he’s speaking real shit. The main thing is that he’s keeping it real and being fake as hell.

Pastor Troy doesn’t do this for attention like some of the Troy haters are saying. If there is ANYBODY that’s real in the rap industry, it is PT. How many rapper do you know would sell out that many people in one song. People that are supposed to be bangers too. He’s real and know that they’re fake. The only reason that they won’t play PT on the radio and all that is because they’re scared. Scared that when these soft rappers start slick rappin’ PT gonna put em to sleep incognito.

Pastor Troy whether you like it or not; the Pastor is one of the pioneers of this gangsta rap in the south and especially infact he practically started the shit in ATL. So, if anyone should have something to say it should be him. Right or wrong its his opinion. So respect the real king of the SOUTH!!!!!!
