Pending good good behavior Dwayne “Lil Wayne” Carter could be released from Rikers Island as early as November 4th, reports MTV. Back in March Wayne was sentenced to 1 year stemming from a 2007 gun possession charge but it looks like he’ll receive which would make the November release 4 months earlier than intended. During his incarceration his Young Money crew (primarily Drake & Nicki Minaj) have kept the labels buzz going with key collabos and the release of Drake’s Thank Me Later album which is on it’s way to selling 800,000 copies thus far.

Rumors are he’ll have a huge performance the minute he gets out going straight from the jail to the stage but that all depends on the stipulations surrounding his release so we’ll all have to wait and see how that plays out.
